With limited donations and volunteers, the Brown Bag Food Project found a way to spread cheer for 15 families in Wood County for Thanksgiving.
The organization was pleased that we were able to brighten the holiday mood for 15 families in need this Thanksgiving. Although there are many that were in need of help, the opportunity to assist at least a few families makes a huge difference.
With the busy pace of the holiday and rush of shopping for holiday shopping, we were still able to find volunteers and donations to make this event possible.
“Between friends and family, and postings on our facebook page, we were able to find enough volunteers and donations to impact 15 families for Thanksgiving”
Our reliance is on donations from generous contributions from friends, family, and the local community. With your help we can impact more lives in such a positive way, and fight hunger in Wood County. If you are interested in providing a donation, please click here today!
Our hope is that as we head towards the end of 2015, we can be set to help many more in the new year. With your help, we can make that possible. If you are interested in volunteering for upcoming events, click here today!
